Centium AI Founder Michael Rueckert joined the Branding and Marketing in the AI Age panel at Marq's Customer Advisory Summit in Park City, Utah on October 8, 2025. The invitation came from Marq, a longstanding Centium AI customer, whose own client audience filled the room.
Marq, formerly Lucidpress, is a cloud-based brand templating and creative automation platform used by more than 6 million professionals and 800 leading brands. The company gives enterprise marketing, sales, and operations teams a way to turn designs into locked templates that non-designers can customize without breaking brand standards. Logos, fonts, and colors stay fixed while teams personalize copy and imagery. Marq has recently repositioned around AI, arguing that generative tools create real brand-dilution risk and that guardrails are required to keep AI-assisted content on-brand.
Rueckert was invited to the panel based on Marq's ongoing work with Centium AI. Marq has been tracked on the platform since September 2025, with Centium AI measuring the brand across six custom categories that map directly to Marq's own positioning: Brand Management, Branded Templating, Creative Automation, Creative Ops, Features, and Use Case.
The panel moved through four sections: AI slop and the rise of AI-first operations across industries, trust and authenticity in an era of generative deep fakes, discoverability as audiences migrate from Google to AI-driven search, and forward predictions on where branding and marketing go from here.
Rueckert led the discoverability conversation. Centium AI's data drove his responses: the variance on the same brand across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok, Reddit and community sources outweighing press releases in AI citations, and the recency illusion created by the fact that only some models run live web search during a response. On the future-predictions thread, Rueckert returned to a thesis he has argued across recent interviews: the era of search is giving way to agentic AI where models act on behalf of humans, and the brands AI trusts will be the brands that win.
The shared thesis between Marq and Centium AI became the through-line of the conversation. Both companies address brand integrity in an AI-first world from different angles. Marq protects outbound brand expression from AI content dilution. Centium AI measures how AI models perceive a brand on the inbound discovery side. Together the two platforms bracket the brand-safety conversation enterprise marketers are starting to have.
The Marq Customer Advisory Summit took place in October 2025, months before terms like generative engine optimization, Answer Engine Optimization, and AI visibility became category shorthand. For Centium AI and the marketers on stage that day, the panel was an early read on a shift that has since accelerated into a priority line item for enterprise brand teams.
